This drawing was done with colored pencil. I did this project at the end of my Freshman year in high school. The assignment was to fuse various still life objects. Thus, I started by drawing a few still life objects multiple times, from multiple angles, in multiple arrangements. Once I felt that I had gotten enough information, I began to take elements from my various sketches and combine them. In addition, I cut away sections and copied parts. The end result of this fusing process is the drawing that you see. I finished up by coloring in various methods such as contrasting colors, complementary, cool, warm, etc. and added somewhat of a gradient in which the bottom of the drawing is more cool and as you go to the top the colors gradually get warmer.
